Ingredient Profile Thoughts
The ingredients in the Duo Bar are decent but by no means impressive. I would like to see the glucose syrup removed and either whey or milk protein isolate as the main protein source instead of soy isolate. I like that the Duo Bar uses whole rolled oats and peanut as ingredients though. I give the ingredient profile a 6/10.

Bar Satisfaction
The Blasting Peanut Butter Duo bar has around 300 calories in it, making it an average size meal calorie-wise. The Duo bar satisfies my hunger as if I ate a whole meal. This is most likely due to its higher fiber content (6 grams) which come from whole rolled oats. The peanut butter is also filling. I give the Duo Bar a satisfaction score of 8/10.

Taste
The taste of this bar has grown on me. At this I thought it was dry and had a weird taste, but not I like it and crave it sometimes. The peanut butter in the middle of the bar definitely adds to the flavor of the bar. I give the Duo Bar an 8/10 on taste.

Duo Bar Final Score

  • Nutrition: 6/10
  • Satisfaction: 8/10
  • Taste: 8/10

FINAL SCORE = 7.3/10
